Getting My Booty Kicked

Wednesday's Workout: 3.25 mile run at a much faster pace than I have been running.

Pre after work run essentials.


Ben and I were finally able to run together again. It felt like it had been forever...and my legs and lungs agreed.

It was quite the humbling experience. Ben reminded me that I used to "carry" him on this route. I know he sped up a few times just to see what I would do.

Towards the end he gave me the option to cut out a quarter mile. Of course I said "heck no!". I think it was a test to see if the running buddy he once had was still in there somewhere.


I am. And I am coming back. Just a little slower than I used to be.
